This is the foundational Squishmallow plush, typically a simple animal or character design rendered in soft, huggable fabric that defines the brand's core appeal. The original release represents the baseline Squishmallow experience without variant finishes, special editions, or collaborations. As a standard rarity item, it's the most accessible entry point to the line and widely available at retail without secondary market premiums. Collectors new to Squishmallows or those seeking fundamental, classic designs would start here.
